A great privilege of being a geologist is the ability to explore the world. I’ve been to many wonderful places because of this career, and it has made me appreciate the natural world a little more every time. The biodiversity and remnants of the past we see all over the world is an incredible feat of nature; at a time where humans have significantly impacted these landscapes, it is more important than ever to appreciate these sights while we still can.

The view is always better with great company. I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for all the amazing colleagues and mentors I’ve had throughout the years. Fieldwork is always best with a little help from my friends, so this page is an ode to them.
