Outreach has been an important part of my PhD which has stemmed from my high school days as a “junior scientist” for BioBus, an organization established to teach elementary schoolers in NYC about science topics. Nowadays, I focus my outreach at the Peabody Museum, a place that is both accessible and safe for local kids to learn about science.
